I have often felt this way, but I have a different perspective on this now. My circle of friends now includes several Jews and a Muslim family too. It's a season of celebration for many different faiths, so wishing them "Happy Holidays" seems, to me, like a very Christian and respectful thing to do. To my Christian friends, I wish them a Merry Christmas.
